GRAVITY

USER MANUAL

The GRAVITY platform acts as a “buffer.” It separates the device placed on it from the surface, prevents the transfer of vibrations from the surface to the device, and also accumulates and dampens vibrations that occur within the device. This restores and provides the device with proper and comfortable working conditions.

WHAT DEVICES SHOULD BE PLACED ON THE PLATFORM?

Devices with rotating parts (motors) that require precise data reading, digital or analog – CD players, DVD players, Blu-ray players, analog turntables.

Any devices that have transformers (amplifiers, digital-to-analog converters) or other components sensitive to vibrations (especially tube amplifiers)..

CAUTION! The devices placed on the platform should not exceed 35 kg in weight.
Overloading the platform will cause a loss of its damping properties and may damage the interior of the platform.

USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

The platform does not have user-serviceable parts inside.

The platform should be regularly maintained using only soft materials, gently wiped dry or with water with a small amount of furniture polish or antistatic solution. The top surface should be vacuumed or gently brushed.

The top surface of GRAVITY is made of a combination of epoxy resins, acrylic, and fillers made of irregularly shaped fractionated minerals. Due to the roughness of this surface and the possibility of damage, it is recommended to use additional pads under devices with spikes

PLATFORM ASSEMBLY

The platform is supplied ready for placing devices on it. You only need to screw in the adjustable spikes.

No tools should be used for screwing in, hand-tightening the spikes is sufficient.

Pads with indentations for spikes are provided in the package.

CAUTION! Due to the sharp ends of the spikes and to avoid furniture damage, always place the platform on the provided pads.

LEVELING THE PLATFORM

Screw in the spikes (4 pcs.) in a way that after leveling, at least 2 of them are screwed in until you feel resistance. This provides better stability for the platform and the device placed on it.

CAUTION! The final leveling of the platform should be done after placing the device on it. Slight bending of the platform under heavier load is normal. The greatest bending will occur at the front left side. The front left support has the longest arm (lowest natural frequency of vibration) – hence the greatest bending and the need for the largest adjustment.
